A New Orleans influenced big-band whose first self-penned studio album of originals DO YA HALLELUJAH? (2015) was released on FRESHLY SQUEEZED and showcased their quirky vision and on-point songwriting honed over many years working the streets, festivals and bars of Europe. Since then they have continued a busy gigging schedule holding down a weekly swing-dance residency in Brighton while gigging weekends everywhere from the WOMAD festival (released as their 5th LIVE AT WOMAD album) to the BAHRAIN JAZZ FESTIVAL and even a short tenure in their spiritual home of NEW ORLEANS. Sounding like a mongrel cross between Squirrel Nut Zippers, Pokey Lafarge, Dr John and Allen Toussaint, fans of this Youtube channel may also recognise the band from their appearance in our videos from THE SPEAKEASY THREE including the multi-million WHEN I GET LOW I GET HIGH.
